A troublesome squander influenced through it's own imploding mediocrity...

So I went to the music competition only to return to Mt Olympus reviewing what a tremendous waste of time the whole squander turned out to be! I played them for the fools they are and it was glorious! Our judges consisted of King Midas and the Nine Muses. We had a countdown and the match began. I played the most astonishingly awesome tunes on my super pimp lyre. However, all was not won. The horrendous screeching wails that bellowed of the very whims of that idiot satyrs wretched instrument were enough to drown out even my most delightful of melodies. This was likely the cause of King Midas's blasphemous decision to decree that animal as the round one champion. I dealt with this complication by challenging the satyr. By decreeing that our skill may only be tested in round two if we play our instruments upside down. The beast accepted and began to play away on that stupid flute. Of course no sound came out of the thing but it was fun to watch no less. Of course I was able to beat my own challenge for my choice of instrument was a lyre, an instrument capable of producing sound whichever way you hold it. I won the competition. I gave Midas an Ass's ears for being so stupid and I made myself a drum out of that dumb old satyrs hide, though it still plays just as bad as he did. I've had enough rubbish for today...

Got mad at the King

So I ran the idea by Zeus, much to say he wan't very enthusiastic about it so now I have to carry around this giant leech on my back. So there's that. I've been invited to face off against some schmuck in a music competition. To this I say HA! HA I tell you! I'm told this so-called music genius of a satyr has invented some sort of...double flute. At this I laugh! Laugh I tell you! That has to be one of the stupidest ideas ever brought to my attention! I've been duct taping flutes together all my life so this is nothing new to me! I will win this fight and have that satyr's hide!!!

AMAZING NEW IDEA!

YO YO YO Apollo here. I was chilling with my homies up on Olympus when I though of an amazing new name for myself.......VAINLORD! Now I get it, the name is a bit much to take in and that YOU WISH you had thought of it first! But you see, that's the reason us gods are soooo much better than you petty mortals with your petty names and your petty shrines! You should see what the Romans are doing for their so-called "gods"! I'ts amazing! You all disappoint me so much it is unbelievable! 30 Days of rain for you idiots! I'm gonna go run the name change idea by Zeus!

I was cruising around in my flying chariot when I noticed some stupid dragon protecting an oracle or something. I though to myself "This cannot go unpunished!", so obviously I proceeded to take my precious time to help this poor worthless oracle from the filthy dragon that was protecting her. I gracefully positioned myself in perfect balance on top of a cloud and pelted knives at the beast meanwhile writing and composing 15 new amazing songs. I did this until the thing died much to the delight of the oracle, who was weeping with tears of joy! The songs went on to be big hits in Greece (not that I need the petty humans praise) and I ended up taking the stupid oracle of Delphi to be my bride. Overall today was not an exciting one.
I'm done here.

Terrorized some peasants.

I am Apollo,
I am amazing,
I command you to
gaze upon my face,
You'll never find someone
charming as I am,
I'm the swankiest god out in space,
I'm a star,
I'm a god,
I'm a thing to behold,
There is none as resplendent as I,
I'll write a new song and

I'll sing it along
of my majesty none can deny.
